*Note: It is supposed that the PLB canopy and bumper at the end of the cab are designed to form a weather-tight seal at all points against the fuselage. However, because of some aircraft whose pitot tubes are close to the door such as B737 or B787, sections of the cab floor and the canopy cushion can be designed to be retracted to protect aircraft sensors
